Para algunos, una muy buena cancion del Saint Seiya clasico; para otros ... cual cancion?!?! ^_^ Si nunca vieron la serie clasica en Version Original Subtitulada (o sino se informaron debidamente) entonces esta cancion les sonara totalmente desconocida. NEBULA CHAIN ES el tema dedicado a Shun, el caballero de Andromeda y tuvo el gran honor de ser usado como tema de insercion en una de las mejores partes de la saga de las 12 casas: La batalla contra el caballero de JUNINI !!

For some, a very good song from the Classic Saint Seiya; for others, ... what song?!?! ^_^ if you never saw the classical series in original subtitled version (or if you didn't investigate properly) then this song will be completly unknown. NEBULA CHAIN is the theme dedicated to Shun, the Andromeda Saint, and it had the honor of being an insertion song in one of the best parts from the 12 temples saga: The battle with the Gemini saint !!

Casi casi next dimension!!

si!! volvio el blog y bla bla bla. A ver cuanto dura este regreso XD Por lo pronto, nos prendemos a la novedad del juego Saint Seiya Awakening con el lanzamiento de un single conteniendo lo que muchos fans llaman "el opening del Next Dimension" ya que la portada y la letra hacen alusion (efimeramente, pero lo hace) a esta parte del manga. Ademas, el hecho de que sea cantada por Nobuo "NoB" Yamada le da mas empuje a esta ilusion fanatica de considerarlo un opening.

Yes!! the Blog is back and blah blah blah. Let's see how long this return lasts XD For now, we go with the flow alongside the Saint Seiya Awakening game and the release of a single song which contains what a lot of fans call "The Next Dimension opening". This is due to the cover and lyrics from the single which make allusion (Briefly but it does it) to that part of the manga. Also, the fact that is sung by Nobuo "NoB" Yamada gives it more verve to this fanatic hope of consider it an opening.

Acordes del ending de Saint Aioria: "Soul of Gold"

Despues de la carencia de endings en Saint Seiya Omega, muchos esperabamos lo mismo en Soul of Gold. Se pensaria que un anime "para internet" nisiquiera tendria opening pero grata fue nuestra sorpresa al ver que estos ratones de TOEI no solo hicieron eso sino que tambien se dignaron a gastar $$ en un ending :O al parecer estaban de buen humor al momento de hacer el presupuesto de gastos de Soul of Gold ^_^ (tampoco tanto porque la cancion ya estaba hecha ;)

After the drought of endings in Saint Seiya Omega many of us thought the same of Soul of Gold. One would think that an "internet anime" wouldn't even have an opening but the surprise to us was big when we saw that they gave it an opening an also they deigned to spend some $$ on an ending :O Looks like they were in good mood in the budget meeting ^_^ (And not even that because the song was already done ;)

Una mas del disco HITS I. Ya dentro de poco vamos a poder tocar y cantar el disco completo! Quien lo hubiera pensado? :D Este tema tiene un aire a opening de los 80's muy marcado. De no haber existido Pegasus Fantasy, sin duda I AM FIGHT habria sido el opening de Saint Seiya.

One more from the HITs I album. Soon we'll be able to play and sing the entire album!Who would have thought? :D This song has a noticeable resemblance to the 80's openings. If Pegasus Fantasy wouldn't have existed I AM FIGHT would have been the Saint Seiya's opening without doubt.

Acordes de Itoshiki hibi

Ya me imagino el primer comentario "y...esta cancion cual es??!!" En vista de que ya se nos estan acabando las canciones conocidas de Saint Seiya, este va a ser un comentario recurrente :P Dicha composicion pertenece a la "era" Omega aunque por desgracia no fue incluida en ningun capitulo. Solo la van a poder encontrar en el single "Saint Evolution".

I can imagine the first comment "so... which song is this??!!" Seeing that we're running out of Saint Seiya's known songs, this is going to be a recurrent comment :P Such composition belongs to the Omega "era" but unfortunatelly it wasn't included on any episode. It's only available in the "Saint Evolution" single.

Acordes de Saint Evolution!

Podemos anunciar oficialmente que ya tenemos los acordes de todos los openings de Saint Seiya! (al menos hasta abril :P). Solo nos faltaba el tercer opening de Saint Seiya Omega, una cancion cuya banda interprete usa mascaras graciosas como sello distintivo, al mas puro estilo "kiss". Mas alla de este detalle que muchos considerarian tonto, su musica es bastante buena y esta cancion es prueba de ello: Energica, rockera y con una melodia pegadiza. Todo eso que nos gusta :D

It can be officially annunced that we have the chords of all the Saint seiya openings! (at least until april :P). The third opening of Saint seiya Omega was the only one left, a song that belongs to a band that wears funny masks as their band distinctive seal like a kind of "kiss" style. Beyond that detail which many will consider silly, their music is pretty good and this song is a proof of that: very energetic, very rocker and with a catchy melody. All the things that we like :D

Acordes de "Senkoo strings" (vamo' las chicas!!)

No, Saint Seiya Omega no fue olvidado. De hecho, su musica es uno de los aspectos que mas ha perdurado de esta serie. Los openings gozaron de buena aceptacion, incluso entre los haters de omega :P "Flashing Strings", el 4to y ultimo opening, genero en su momento cierta espectativa/controversia ya que la cancion estuvo a cargo de una banda de heavy metal femenino. Pese a todo, este tema cosecho su pequeño sequito de fans asi que para todos ellos (y para los haters tambien, porque no XD )aca estan acordes ;)

No, Saint Seiya Omega wasn't forgotten. In fact, its music is one of the lasting aspects of this series. The openings enjoyed good acceptance, even from the Omega haters :P "Flashing strings", the 4th opening, generated some expectation/controversy because the song was in charge of a heavy metal band integrated by girls. In spite of that, this theme reaped its entourage of fans so for all of them (and for the haters too, why not? XD) here are the chords ;)

El jardin de los dioses

Se hizo esperar pero seguimos con el proyecto de sacar los acordes de todos los openings y endings de Saint Seiya / los caballeros del zodiaco. Cada vez falta menos aunque como siguen saliendo cosas de Saint seiya (proximamente tendremos SOUL OF GOLD), creo que nunca podremos dar por terminado el proyecto :D hoy le toca a KAMI NO SONO ~ del Regno, ending de la saga de Hades - Campos Eliseos. Una de las pocas cosas rescatables de esas nefastas Ovas XD

Acordes de Hero

Por fin pudimos escaparnos del ataud de hielo en el que camus nos encerro hace varios meses y volvimos con otro post! :P Por esas casualidades despertamos justo en medio de la fiebre latinoamericana por la pelicula en CGI "Saint seiya legend of sanctuary" y como somos unos unos oportunistas descarados, decidimos publicar material del soundtrack. En este caso los acordes del "ending" llamado Hero, el cual es verdaderamente bello y no tengo duda de que se va a convertir en un clasico del universo musical de Saint seiya.

Finally we were able to escape from the ice coffin where Camus locked us up a few months ago and we came back with another post! :P By one of those life's coincidences, we woke up just in the middle of the latinamerican fever for the CGI movie "Saint Seiya Legend of sanctuary" and as shameless opportunists that we are, we decided to publish this material from the soundtrack. In this case, it's the chords of the "ending" called hero which is truly beautiful and i have no doubt that it'll become a classic in the Saint Seiya's musical universe.

Yo se que ustedes quieren acordes de canciones conocidas pero como verdaderos fans de esta serie estan obligados a aceptar todo lo que tenga que ver con Saint seiya :P Stardust Way es otra cancion del disco HITS 1 que no reconocera la mayoria. Porque? porque no "aparecio" en ningun capitulo de la serie. Porque no aparecio? La razon es obvia: Discriminacion XD

I know that you want chords from known songs but, as true fans of this series, you're bound to accept everything that has to do with Saint Seiya :P Stardust Way is another song from the album HITS 1 that won't be recognized by the majority. Why? Because it wasn't played in any episode of the series. Why it wasn't played? the reason is obvious: Discrimination XD

"You are Phoenix" es la cancion dedicada a Ikki, el caballero del Fenix (na, en serio?). Esta es otra cancion que no logró quedar en ningun episodio de la serie y la verdad no se me ocurre una escena en donde usarla... a uds. si? :O

"You are Phoenix" is the song devoted to Ikki, the Phoenix saint (Oh really?). This is another song that didn't make it in an episode of the series and, to be honest, i can't think in a scene where to use it... and you? :O

Basta de Lyras por el momento :) Hoy les traigo amor y los acordes de esta cancion virtualmente desconocida. Es, probablemente, la mejor cancion del disco 1996 Song Collection y estoy completamente seguro de que les va a gustar :D

Love fighter es otra de esas canciones incluidas en el soundtrack de Saint Seiya que nunca se escucharon dentro de la serie. Tampoco es una de las mas populares pero se que alguien en alguna parte del mundo estaba esperando con ansias los acordes ^_^¿
Love fighter is another of those songs included in the Saint seiya soundtrack that were never played in the series. It's not one of the most popular neither but i know that someone in some place was waiting anxiously for the chords

La siguiente generacion...

Saint seiya omega trajo mucha controversia por el cambio radical de protagonistas, de las "reglas" y de su enfoque para un publico mas infantil. Por desgracia ha surgido una separacion dentro del fandom entre aquellos que les gusta y los que lo detestan. A mi personalmente no me emociona la serie pero algo en lo que parece haber consenso es en que la musica "cumple". Dejando de lado el OST del que hablaremos en el futuro, los openings de Saint Seiya Omega han tenido buena recepcion. Tal es el caso de "Next generation", el segundo opening de la serie el cual ha pegado mas o menos bien entre los fanaticos (los mas jovenes al menos) pese a ser mas pop que rock. A mi me parece pegadiza ^_^ y bueno, con motivo de la renovacion de la serie para una segunda temporada (Y ya que todos la pedian :P) aca tenemos los acordes :DD

Saint Seiya Omega brought a lot of controversy because of the radical change of the main characters, the "rules" and its focus on a more infantile audience. Unfortunately a breach was made in the saint seiya fandom between those who like omega and those who hate it. Personally, omega doesn't thrill me but most of the fans agree that the music "approves". Leaving aside the OST, the 2 openings of Saint Seiya Omega had good reception. Such is the case of "Next Generation", the second opening which was more or less a hit between the fans (at least the youngers) despite the fact that it is more pop than rock. It sounds catchy to me ^_^ well, On the occasion of the renewal for a second season of the series(and because everyone asked for it :P) here we have the chords :DD

Acordes de "You are my reason to be"! (Hay amor ahí eh... ;)

Una pregunta recurrente es "¿vas a terminar de sacar los acordes de los openings y endings que faltan?". Claro que los voy a sacar! solo que se estan tardando un poco :P Ya para calmar las aguas les traigo los acordes del ending de la 3er. pelicula de Saint Seiya, es decir, la de Abel. Costó bastante aunque debo remarcar que me la pidieron hace bastante tiempo. Perdon por la tardanza! tarde pero seguro :S

A recurrent question is "are you going to do the remaining chords of the openings and endings?" Of course i'll do it! It just has a little delay :P to pour oil on troubled waters here you have the chords of this great ending which took a lot of work i must admit (and it was requested to me long time ago. Sorry this took so long! Better late than never :S)

Acordes de " The Knigths of Zodiac"

Muchos escucharon esta cancion y la odiaron. No porque sea mala en si, sino porque es la cancion usada en el opening inventado (Por la desaparecida DIC) para la version estadounidense de Saint seiya, renombrada como "knights of zodiac". Para los que no lo sepan, esta version de Saint seiya conto con nueva musica que no estaba al nivel de la original, una censura bestial, guion "infantilizado" y un doblaje espantoso. Digamos, el tratamiento normal que sufre un anime en USA XDD Esta cancion es un cover de la cancion de los 80's "I ran (so far away)" perteneciente a la banda britanica "Flock Of Seagulls". Los acordes son faciles asi como la complejidad de la cancion en si.

Many of you heard this song and hated it. Not because it's a bad song itself but because is the song used in the invented opening (by the late DIC) for the USA version of Saint Seiya called "Knights of Zodiac". For those who don't know it, this version of Saint Seiya had many beautiful things: new music not in the same level of the original, monumental censorship, a childish rewritten script and an awful dubbing. Let's say, the normal treatment for an anime in USA XDD This song is a cover from the 80's song "I ran (so far away)" from the british band "Flock Of Seagulls". The chords are easy, just like the complexity of the song.

Acordes del ending que no fue ending (A.K.A. "My Dear")

Cada vez falta menos para tener la coleccion completa de acordes de openings y endings de Saint Seiya. De hecho, la de openings ya esta completa (y bueno, eran 3 canciones nomas XD ). Solo nos quedan un par de endings. "My Dear" es el ending de las ovas de Hades, parte Infierno. Una cancion soft con tintes nostalgico-triste que fue bien recibida por los fans, no asi su animacion en las ovas ya que, lo que se vio como ending, no fue mas que los creditos en un fondo negro con un recuadrito mostrando escenas de la Ova. Una cosa bastante lejana de lo que los fans conocen como "ending". Incluso hubiese sido valido una imagen fija de fondo pero ni eso. Esta es otra de las razones por la cual el apellido "KATSUMATA" es bien recordado por los fanaticos de Saint Seiya y no justamente para decirle gracias. Afortunadamente Masami Kurumada (que tambien le puso la letra a esta cancion) lograria producir 2 videoclips y meterlos como extras en los DVDs de las ovas de Hades infierno. Uno de ellos es de My Dear con Yumi Matsuzawa en rol protagonico. Aun sin tener nada que ver con Saint Seiya, este videoclip hubiera quedado mejor como ending pero bueno, que se le va a hacer...

Soon we'll have the complete collection of chords of openings and endings from Saint Seiya. In fact, we have all the openings (well, there were only 3 songs XD ). Just a couple of endings left. "My Dear" is the ending from the Hades Ovas, Inferno Chapter. A soft song with a slight touch of nostalgic sadness that had a good reception from the fans, but not its animation in the ovas because it was just the credits in a black screen with some scenes from the Ova in a little box. It would have been better a still image as a background but it wasn't even that. This is one of the many reasons of why the last name "KATSUMATA" is well known by the Saint Seiya fans and not exactly to give him the thanks. Fortunately, Masami Kurumada (who also made the lyrics for this song) managed to produce 2 videoclips and put them into the DVDs of the Hades Inferno Ovas as extras. One of the clips was from My Dear with Yumi Matsuzawa in the leading rol. Even when it has nothing to do with Saint Seiya, this videoclip would be a better choice as an ending but well, what can one do...

Acordes Pegasus Forever....

Pegasus Forever fue la cancion utilizada como opening de las Ovas de Hades, parte Infierno y Campos Elíseos; y significo el regreso de Saint Seiya a su escencia roquera. La cancion en si es pegadiza aunque muchos fans se resistieron a sus encantos al principio. En parte porque querian a Make Up de regreso (algo que en ese momento era muy dificil). Como punto negativo podemos mencionar que esta cancion quedo un poco asociada a la era "Katsumata", es decir, al periodo en donde Saint Seiya perdio muchisima calidad tanto en animacion como en emocion por decirlo de una manera suave XD  Un detalle importante es que la letra la hizo el mismisimo creador de Saint Seiya: Masami Kurumada. No seria la primera vez ya que en el disco HITS II tambien le puso letra a la cancion "We're Fearless warriors".

Pegasus Forever was the song used as opening in the Hades Ovas, chaper Inferno and Elysium; and it was the return of Saint Seiya to its rocker essence. The song itself it's catchy althought many fans resisted its charms at first. In part because they wanted the return of Make Up (Something really difficult at that moment). As a negative point, we can mention that this song stays a bit associated with the "Katsumata" era, i.e., the period where Saint Seiya lost a lot of quality  not only in the animation but also in emotion (in soft words XD ). An important detail is that the lyrics were written by the Saint Seiya creator: Masami Kurumada. It wouldn't be the first time because in the HITS II album he wrote the lyrics for the song "We're Fearless warriors".
