Partituras Oficiales de Saint Seiya "2"

Hace un tiempo en el post partituras oficiales de Saint seiya, yo planteaba la interrogante de ¿porque el unico material oficial de saint seiya en cuanto a partituras son solamente unas cuantas hojas sueltas? Teniendo Saint seiya/los caballeros del zodiaco un soundtrack tan magistral, nadie se digno a sacar un book o al menos pensar en lucrar con eso? :P por mucho tiempo pense que esas partituras sueltas eran lo unico oficial que podriamos encontrar, pero felizmente parece estaba en un error :D

Some time ago, in the Official Saint Seiya sheet music entry , i brought up the question of ¿why the only official material of Saint seiya (sheet music) are just a few sheets? since Saint seiya has an awesome soundtrack, nobody thought about doing a sheet music book or at least contemplated the idea of getting a profit with it? :P For a long time i thought those few sheets were the only official material that we could find but it happily it looks like i was in a mistake :D

               

Epic trailer ( y epic music ) del saint seiya online

Hace unos dias salia a la luz un buen teaser/intro/mini-trailer del juego Saint Seiya online con los caballeros dorados. Ahora ya tenemos el trailer completo y esta tremendo!! Hay que aclarar que es todo CGI y nada de gameplay. Tambien lo bueno de este trailer es que podemos escuchar mas del soundtrack :D 

A few days ago a pretty good teaser/intro/minitrailer of the saint seiya online game with the gold saints was released. Now we have the full trailer and it's awesome!! We must clarify that it's all CGI and no gameplay is seen. Also, the good thing about this trailer is that we can hear more from the soundtrack :D

Epic BGM del Saint seiya online

Cada vez que escribo acerca de un videojuego siento como si le estuviera haciendo un chivo (publicidad) "gratis" ya que el material musical que presento es infimo y termino hablando solo del juego, pero bueno... es lo que hay ;_; La web del saint seiya online se actualizo con un pequeño intro de presentacion de los 12 caballeros dorados bastante bueno + un delicioso poster animado.

Every time that i write about a videogame, i feel like i'm doing a "free" publicity because the musical material that i present is almost negligible and i end up talking only about the game, but well....it is what it is ;_; The saint seiya online web was updated with a little, and pretty good, presentation/intro of the 12 gold saints + a delightfull motion poster.

Actualizaciones / updates

Ya comenzo el proceso de actualizacion de los posts "antiguos" de tabs. Se les ira agregando videotutoriales + archivos guitar pro + midis + partituras de los tabs. Hace tiempo vengo recibiendo muchos mensajes consultando/preguntanto acerca de como tocar ciertas partes de un tab y a veces es bastante dificil explicarlo con palabras. Nada mejor que un video para hacer eso :D 
En el margen derecho hay un link "Actualizaciones". Ahi van a poder ver que posts, cuando y con que se han ido actualizando, de modo que no haya que revisar los posts 1 a 1 para ver si hay algo nuevo.
Y para rellenar un poco este post, les dejo los 2 posts actualizados el dia de hoy.

The process of updating the "old" tabs posts has began. It'll be added viteotutorials + guitar pro files + midis + tab sheet music. For a long time i received a lot of messages asking about how to play certain part of a tab and sometimes is very difficult to explain it with words. Nothing better than a video to do that :D
On the right margin there's a link "Actualizaciones" (updates). There you'll be able to see which posts, when and with what have been updated so you don't have to check the posts 1 by 1 looking for something new.
And to fill this post a little, here you have the 2 posts updated today.

Cover del proximo disco de "El lienzo perdido"

Esta noticia tiene ya como 1 semana JA! cuando va a ser el dia en que ponga una noticia actualizada? :P esta es la imagen que se usara como Tapa del proximo disco de EL lienzo perdido alla en japon. Se puede distinguir el caracteristico trazo de Shiori Teshirogi (La dibujante y guionista del Lost Canvas) en el. Para los interesados, esta disponible la compra online por amazon AQUI (pero hay sorpresa para los que compren en japon →ver ). Para todos los demas ya sean pobres, tacaños, curiosos o simplemente adictos a las descargas, habra que esperar un poco para los mp3s, los cuales estaran disponibles para descarga en este blog apenas salgan ;)

One can distinguish the characteristic draw from Shiori Teshirogi (the writer and drawer of the Lost Canvas) on it. For the stakeholders, it's available the online purchase in Amazon HERE (but there's a surprise for those who buy it in japan →ver ). For the rest of us either poor, stingy, curious or simply download junkies, it'll be necessary to wait a bit for the mp3s which will be available for downloading in this blog as soon as it'll be released.

Posible seleccion musical del juego Saint Seiya Pachinko

Gracias a Ragen Blue Universe nos enteramos del presunto BGM o musica de fondo que tendra el juego Pachinko de Saint Seiya. Podemos ver a simple vista que el tracklist incluye musica del OST 1 al 4, es decir, musica de la saga del santuario, de la pelicula de Eris y de la pelicula de Asgard.

Thanks to Ragen Blue universe we have the supposed BGM (background music) from the Saint Seiya Pachinko game. We can see with the naked eye that the tracklist includes music from the OST 1 to 4, i.e., music from the sanctuary chapter, the Eris' movie and the Asgard Movie.

Seiji Yokoyama recibe un reconocimiento en japon...

Bueno, esto paso hace casi 1 mes pero por si alguien no se entero...
Nuestro buen sensei, Seiji Yokoyama, ha conseguido el 10mo lugar en una premiacion de la sociedad de derechos de autores, compositores y editores (JASRAC). Estos "premios" se dan en base a las ventas de musica (regalias) fuera de japon.

Well, this happened almost 1 month ago but in case you didn´t know...

Our Sensei, Seiji Yokoyama, got the 10th place in an award from the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC). These awards are for the music sales (royalties) out of japan.

Disco OST 3 ( La mitad de la musica que faltaba + relleno + repetidos = OST 3)

El disco OST III salio a la venta el 21 de diciembre de 1987. Para ese momento la serie se encontraba practicamente a la mitad de la saga mas importante de Saint Seiya/Los caballeros del zodiaco: Las 12 casas. Mas precisamente, en el capitulo donde Seiya, Shiryu y Shun llegan a la casa de Libra y encuentran a Hyoga en el ataud de hielo. Estrategicamente, fue el mejor momento para lanzar el disco ya que la serie estaba en su apogeo de popularidad. El manga serializado en la revista Shounen Jump, en cambio, iba ya por la parte donde Seiya se encuentra con Saga y este se revela como el caballero de Geminis.

The OST III album went on sale the december 21, 1987. By that time the series was halfway of the most important saga in Saint Seiya: The 12 Temples. More precisely, in the episode where Seiya, Shiryu and Shun came to the Libra Temple and find Hyoga inside the ice coffin. Strategically, it was the best moment to release the album because the series was in its popularity peak. The manga published in the Shounen Jump Magazine, instead, was already in the part where Seiya meets Saga and he reveals himself as the Gemini Saint.

Nuevo CD de Saint Seiya: El lienzo perdido

Gracias al foro Athena no Seinto  nos enteramos de que va a salir un nuevo CD de El lienzo perdido/Lost Canvas!!  Se estaba haciendo esperar un poco no? :P  La noticia salio junto con el Gaiden de Albafica de Piscis. El Cd se llamaria "Character song" (canciones de personajes) y saldria a principios de Agosto del 2011. Se espera que sea un disco vocal con canciones de rock/pop dedicadas a ciertos personajes. 

Thanks to the Athena no Seinto forum, we find out that a new CD from The Lost Canvas will be released!! It was taking its time, isn't it? :P the news come out with the Pisces Albafica's gaiden. The album would be called "Character Song" and will be released early August 2011. It's been expected that it will be a vocal album with Rock/pop songs dedicated to certain characters.

Disco OST 2 (El CD de Eris que no fue...)

Habian pasado ya 9 meses desde el estreno de la serie y la popularidad de Saint Seiya se mantenia alta, asi como el rating y las ventas de juguetes ($ponsor$). A los discos anteriores les habia ido bien y cabe aclarar que el primer disco con musica de fondo, es decir el OST 1, ya se habia amortizado mas que suficiente XD Todas estas eran buenas señales para la salida de un nuevo disco con musica de fondo de la serie, asi que podriamos decir que la salida del OST 2 era algo inminente. Ademas hubo otro hecho que precipito la salida de este disco (y que lo afectaria en varios aspectos): El estreno de la pelicula de Eris.

9 months had passed since the series premiere and the Saint Seiya's popularity kept high, as well as the rating and the toy sales ($ponsor$). The previous albums made good sales and it's worth mentioning that the first album, i.e. the OST 1, had amortized more than enough XD  All these were good signals for the release of a new album with backgrond music from the series so we could say that the release of the OST 2 was inminent.  There was also another fact that precipitated the release of this album ( and it would affect the album in a few aspects): The premiere of the Eris' movie.

Iniciamos el año con un aporte que es mas una rareza que otra cosa :P se trata de el DVD "Straight liner Make Up Live". Corresponde a una presentacion en vivo de la banda Make Up alla por el año 84. Make Up es, lejos, la banda mas representativa que saint seiya tuvo (Pegasus Fantasy, Blue Forever, Never, etc). En este caso  interpreta temas de su primer y segundo disco (Howling Will y Straight Liner respectivamente).
Este video en vivo fue Grabado el 6 de septiembre de 1984 en el "Osaka Kousei Nenkin Kaikan" (大阪厚生年金会館) lanzado originalmente en VHS en el año 1984 y se edito en DVD en el año 2004 dentro del Box-set  "MAKE-UP MEMORIES OF BLUE - 20th Anniversary" にてDVD収録.
En este video se puede apreciar toda la energia de Make-Up como banda. Sobresale Nobuo Yamada con su particular carisma que puede apreciarse aun hoy dia. Tambien podemos ver a Hiroaki Matsuzawa y su talento en la guitarra ;) 

We began the year with a contribution which is more an oddity than anything else: P this is the DVD "Straight Liner Make Up live ". Corresponds to a live presentation of the Make Up band around the year 1984. Make Up is , by far, the most representative band that Saint Seiya had ( Pegasus Fantasy Blue Forever, Never, etc). In this case the band plays songs from their first and second album (Howling Will and Straight Liner respectively).
This live video was recorded on September 6, 1984 in "Osaka Kousei Nenkin Kaikan" (大阪 厚生 年金 会馆) originally released on VHS in 1984 and on DVD in 2004 within the Box-set "MAKE-UP MEMORIES OF BLUE - 20th Anniversary " にてDVD収録.
In this video can appreciate all the energy of Make-Up as a band. Nobuo Yamada excels with his unique charisma that can be seen even today. We can also see to Hiroaki Matsuzawa and his talent on the guitar ;)

Disco OST 1 (La magia comienza...)

Los BGMs o musica de fondo son una parte necesaria en los animes ya que junto a otros elementos (como ser la animacion, las voces, etc) le otorgan la personalidad y el atractivo a la serie. Algunos pueden, ciertamente, llegar a pasar inadvertidos mientras que otros pueden llegar a ser aun mejor que el mismo anime :P En el caso de Saint seiya, los BGMs son una parte vital ya que poseen la virtud de magnificar la emotividad, la tension o la accion de cada escena. Podemos decir que mucho del exito de saint seiya esta en la musica de fondo que tiene. De hecho, hasta el dia de hoy, el BGM de saint seiya es alabado como uno de los mejores =)

The BGMs or Background Music are a necesary part in the animes because gives, along with other elements, the personality and the Charm to the series. Some may not be noticed and another can be even better than the anime itself :P in Saint seiya, the BGMs are a vital part because they possess the virtue of magnify the tension, emotion or action in every scene. We can say that much of the Saint Seiya's success is in its background music. In fact, until today, the Saint seiya Bgm is praised as one of the bests BGMs =)

Nuevo opening de la segunda temporada de "The Lost Canvas"

Bueno, hace unos meses se supo que la cancion del opening de esta segunda temporada seria la misma de la primera, es decir, "The Realm of Athena" (El reino de Athena). Asi que lo unico que se esperaba era que las imagenes y la animacion de este segundo opening fueran buenas. TMS no nos decepciono en ese sentido ya que el opening se ve bastante bien :D
Recuerden que las nuevas Ovas de "Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas" todavia no tienen fecha de salida aunque se especula que sera en los primeros meses del 2011.


Well, a few months ago we got the new that the opening song for the second season will be the same as the first one, "The Realm of Athena". So, the only thing expected was that the images and the animation of this second opening were good. TMS didn't disappoint us because the opening looks pretty good :D
Remember that the coming Ovas of "Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas" doesn't have a release date but is expected in the first months of the 2011.

Informe: Canciones Vocales en los Capitulos de Saint Seiya

Cuando que una serie es doblada, uno puede encontrarse con que tiene faltantes (o agregados) respecto a la version original. Muchas veces en el pasado no nos enterabamos de esos cambios porque disponer de las versiones originales era, ciertamente, muy dificil. A partir del boom de internet y las descargas ^_^  conseguir esas originales fue posible (de forma masiva, claro) y nos permitio descubrir que cosas tenia de mas o de menos cierta serie que miraramos. En el caso de Saint Seiya, el 90% de la serie se conservo intacta respecto a su version original japonesa. El restante 10% consistio en cosas "menores" que basicamente no interferian a la hora de disfrutar de la serie: Simplificacion de algunos dialogos para hacerlos mas "entendibles" (al principio de la serie mas que nada), cambios en los nombres de las tecnicas, Frases algo mal redactadas dando como resultado dialogos raros o bizarros de vez en cuando.

when a series is dubbed, one can find missing (or aggregates) things regard to the original version. Many times in the past we didn't know about that changes because it was difficult to have the original versions. Since the internet boom and the downloads ^_^ obtain those originals was possible (in a massive way, of course) and let us discover what was cutted or added in a series. In Saint seiyas' case, the 90% of the series was preserved intact regard to the original japanese version. The remaining 10% consisted in "minor" stuff that didn't interfere to enjoy the series: Simplification of some dialogues to make then more "understandables" (at the beggining of the series mostly), Changes in the techniques names, phrases poorly drafted with the consequence of  rare or bizarre dialogues from time to time.

Caaaballeros del zodiaaaaco, cuando lanzan su ataaaaque....

Si ahora mismo pudiera reunir a 400 fans latinoamericanos de Saint seiya de mas de 20 años y les hiciera escuchar esta cancion, estoy completamente seguro de que todos podrian cantarla sin equivocarse en 1 sola palabra. Pero si les preguntara a esos 400 si la cancion les gusta, mas de la mitad diria que no XD  Este es solo uno de los tantos sentimientos contradictorios que genera aun hoy dia esta cancion llamada simplemente "Caballeros del Zodiaco" (o "los guardianes del universo"), cancion que sirviera como opening (y ending) de la serie de Saint seiya en latinoamerica desde el año 1993 hasta mas o menos el 2003 cuando se la reemplazo por las versiones latinas de las canciones originales japonesas (Pegasus fantasy, Soldier Dream, Blue Forever y Blue Dream).

CD Drama de Albafica (The Lost Canvas)

Bueno, no se si llamarlo novedad ya que el CD salio alla por junio. Lo que pasa es que ahora esta disponible para descargar!! :D
Este es un CD drama (es como una radio novela) acerca de Albafica, el caballero de piscis en The Lost Canvas (El lienzo Perdido). Es una historia Gaiden, es decir, una historia paralela que muestra hechos del pasado o explora mas profundamente un personaje. En este caso, se trata de recuerdos de Albafica y su maestro (el anterior caballero de piscis) Lugonis.
Este CD solo se conseguia al canjear todas las tarjetas que vienen en los DVDs y BluRays oficiales de The Lost Canvas (Japon unicamente).

Well, i don't know if i must call it "news" because the CD has already come out in june. The thing is that now is available for downloading!! :D
This is a CD drama (it's like a radio-drama) about Albafica, the pisces gold saint in The Lost Canvas. Is a Gaiden Story, ergo, a Parallel story that shows past events or explore more deeply a Character. In this case, it's about memories of Albafica and his teacher (the previous pisces saint) Lugonis.
This CD was only achieved by exchanging all the cards that came into the Lost Canvas' DVDs and official BluRays (Japan only).

Disco "Saint seiya - Hits II" (El imperio contraataca...)

Dado que el disco "Hits" (que, dicho sea de paso, tuvo que cambiarse el nombre de manera extraoficial a "HITS I" por obvias razones ;) gozo de una buena aceptación por parte del publico, que las ventas de este álbum y del OST I fueron buenas, y que la serie iba muy bien en rating así como las ventas de los juguetes de Bandai; una idea empezó a dar vuelta en las cabecitas de los directivos de TOEI ¿porque no lanzar otro disco vocal de saint seiya? Recordar que si bien Saint Seiya goza de una música de fondo magnifica, son las canciones vocales las que se pasan en las radios y las que generan esa sensación de actualidad/moda en los animes (y ventas, por supuesto).

The "Hits" album (which unofficially had to change its name to "Hits I" for obvious reasons ;) had a good acceptance from the public, the sales from that album and the OST1 were good, and the rating of the series was high as well  as the sales of the Bandai Toys. So, an idea was turning around the heads of the TOEI's executives: ¿Why not release another Saint Seiya Vocal album ? Remember that although Saint seiya have a magnificent Background music, it's the vocal songs which are broadcasted and generate the sensation of being actual/fashionable in the animes (and $ales of course).

Disco "Saint Seiya - Hits" (El primero de la trilogía)

Como con prácticamente todas las series de anime, las canciones de apertura y cierre (conocidas como openings y endings respectivamente) son potenciales fuentes de dinero gracias a las posibles ventas de discos que puedan generar en el futuro. En occidente este fenómeno podría equipararse a los Soundtracks de las películas, conocidas como BSO (Banda sonora original).

As with almost all anime series, the opening and ending songs are potential sources of money due to possible records sales in the future. In Occident this phenomenon could be compared with the movie soundtracks, Known as OST (original soundtracks).
