Pandora's box: Full band

Full band hace referencia a una partitura que contiene una cantidad aceptable o todos los instrumentos musicales que suenan en una pieza musical. Comunmente se lo puede conocer como partitura orquestal o "concert band", dependiendo de la naturaleza de dicha pieza. En este caso, el segundo movimiento del track Pandora's box. Una partitura que empezé como una transcripcion para piano pero le fui agregando una nota aca, otra alla, y termino con varios instrumentos mas agregados al piano ^^

Full band makes reference to a sheet music that has all or an acceptable amount of musical instruments played una a piece. Commonly it can be known as orchestral sheet music or "concert band" depending of the piece nature. In this case, the Pandora's box 2nd track movement. A sheet music that was started as a piano transcription but i was adding a note here, another there, and it finished with a lot more instruments along with the piano ^^

Parece que esta partitura esta cargada con el cosmos del mismisimo Abel porque es uno de los arreglos de BGM mas complejos y tecnicos que hayamos publicado. A aquellos que intenten tocarla yo les diria que vayan y se consigan una armadura dorada primero, de otro modo dejen en paz al señor abel y preparense para la explosion de JALASHKiAN!!
It looks like this sheet music comes with the cosmos of Abel himself because is one of the more complex and technical BGM arrangements that we ever published. For those who want to try it i'll say you first get a gold cloth otherwise leave Abel sama alone and prepare yourself for the GALAXIAN EXPLOSION!!

2 Posteos en 1 mes? esto viene bien ^_^¿   Esta partitura es iconica, aun cuando se escucho muy poco dentro de las ovas de Hades (y esto no es algo malo en sí). Algunos llaman a este track "El tema de Apolo" y, ciertamente, lo es. La utilizacion del organo es perfecta para reflejar la magnificencia de un dios (aunque tambien hubiera quedado bien un coro masculino). Puede sentirse lo avasallante de su poder y lo imposiblemente arduo que resulta tratar de hacerle frente a ese poder. Uno de los mejores tracks del OST Tenkai-hen

2 posts in 1 month? this looks good ^_^¿  This Sheet music is iconical, even when it wasn't played a lot (which isn't bad at all). Someone call it "Apollos' theme" and, certainly, it is. The use of the organ is perfect to reflect the magnificence of a god (Even though a male chorus would have been good to). The music allows you to feel how overwhelming his power is and how imposible ardous is trying to face that power. One of the best tracks from the Tenkai-hen OST

Se que hay muchas personas que no saben leer partituras, tabs o solfeos y que les da mucha pachorra (pereza) aprender tambien. Para todos esos, les dejo un par de videos tutoriales donde un fan se tomo no solo el trabajo de sacar la nota de todos los instrumentos sino tambien de colocar la digitacion en cada uno de ellos (bueno, la mayoria de ellos ^^).

I know there're many people that doesn't know how to read sheet music, tabs or solfa and they are a little lazzy to learn it too. For all of them, i leave a couple of video tutorials where a fan not only took the job of gettting every note of all the instruments but he also put the fingering in every one of them (well, most of them ^^).

"Sad Brothers" es una de las mejores piezas musicales de Saint Seiya. Asi de simple. Es tan extremadamente bella que, al finalizar, muchos tenemos no solo la tentacion sino el deseo de escucharla de nuevo. Eso explica la cantidad de videos en youtube solamente dedicados al track o la cantidad de transcripciones de la misma :O En realidad hasta el momento "solo" habia 2 transcripciones en existencia: La version de Liz Xu Wilson y la version de Toccata538. Hoy les presentamos una tercera version y viene de la mano de Teddy leongshe. Es una version compleja asi que preparen las manos.

"Sad Brothers" is one of the best musical pieces in Saint Seiya. It's that simple. It's so extremely beautiful that we have not only the temptation but the desire of listen it again when it ends. That explains the amount of youtube videos dedicated to the track or the amount of transcriptions from such piece :O In fact, to date, there were "only" 2 transcriptions in stock: the Liz Xu Wilson's version and the Toccata538's version. Guitarreando con Hades en la PS2

No solo de la musica de anime vive el fan de Saint seiya, tambien de la musica de videojuegos! En este caso la musica pertenece al juego para playstation 2 "Saint Seiya: The Hades". Esta pieza musical no tiene nombre (ya que solo hay mp3 extraidos del juego) pero de forma no oficial recibio el nombre de "Inner cosmos" (cosmos interior).

The Saint seiya fan doesn't live by anime music alone but also on videogame music! In this case the music belongs to the playstation 2 game "Saint Seiya: The Hades". This musical piece has no name (because there are only mp3 extracted from the game) but it has received the unofficial name of "Inner Cosmos"

Feliz navidad con el Piano Fantasia x 2 !!

Recuerdo cuando recien descubria los "otros" discos de Saint Seiya. Esos conteniendo musica que no se escucho dentro de la serie. En ese tiempo yo practicaba el piano y fue grande mi sorpresa al encontrar el disco PIANO FANTASIA. Un disco enteramente en ...piano? :PP Inmerso en una mezcla de ignorancia e inocencia me puse a escuchale pensando "unas lindas y sencillas versiones en piano". Al terminar de escucharlo quede totalmente abrumado por la complejidad y la habilidad necesaria para ejecutar esos temas. Quien se tomaria el arduo trabajo de hacer las partituras para temas tan selectos y quien tendria la habilidad para tocar dichas partituras si las tuviera? Durante años pense que la respuesta era "NADIE". Por fortuna en 2 ocasiones vi que estaba equivocado. Supongo que esta es la tercera ^_^

I remember when i discovered the "other" Saint seiya Albums. Those with music not played inside the series. At that time i was a piano student and had a big surprise when i found the PIANO FANTASIA Album. An entire album with ....piano performances?? :PP i began to listen, immersed in a mix of innocence and ignorance, thinking "some pretty and simple piano versions". when i finished to listen it,  i was completely overwhelmed because of the complexity and skill necessary to play such pieces. Who will take the hard work of making the sheet music for such select songs and who will have the skill for playing that sheet music in case of have it? For many years i thought the answer was "no one". Luckily, in 2 ocassions i saw i was wrong. I guess this is the 3rd one ^_^

Una pregunta recurrente es "¿vas a terminar de sacar los acordes de los openings y endings que faltan?". Claro que los voy a sacar! solo que se estan tardando un poco :P Ya para calmar las aguas les traigo los acordes del ending de la 3er. pelicula de Saint Seiya, es decir, la de Abel. Costó bastante aunque debo remarcar que me la pidieron hace bastante tiempo. Perdon por la tardanza! tarde pero seguro :S

A recurrent question is "are you going to do the remaining chords of the openings and endings?" Of course i'll do it! It just has a little delay :P to pour oil on troubled waters here you have the chords of this great ending which took a lot of work i must admit (and it was requested to me long time ago. Sorry this took so long! Better late than never :S)

Tan pronto "volvio" el blog  tambien lo hicieron las demoras ^_^¿ Ya en unas semanas espero normalizar los posteos. Definitivamente este es un post para los fans del saint seiya clasico! ya que la pieza de hoy es una de las que solo se escucharon durante la primera mitad de la saga del santuario: ERA OF LEGEND.

Epic trailer ( y epic music ) del saint seiya online

Hace unos dias salia a la luz un buen teaser/intro/mini-trailer del juego Saint Seiya online con los caballeros dorados. Ahora ya tenemos el trailer completo y esta tremendo!! Hay que aclarar que es todo CGI y nada de gameplay. Tambien lo bueno de este trailer es que podemos escuchar mas del soundtrack :D 

A few days ago a pretty good teaser/intro/minitrailer of the saint seiya online game with the gold saints was released. Now we have the full trailer and it's awesome!! We must clarify that it's all CGI and no gameplay is seen. Also, the good thing about this trailer is that we can hear more from the soundtrack :D

En australia tambien tocan Saint Seiya y bastante bien...

Hoy no hay partituras, ni tabs ni acordes. Solo buena musica para disfrutar :D Aqui tenemos a un fan australiano que se hace llamar "Daphnis et Chloé" el cual toca arreglos propios en piano de 3 piezas de Saint Seiya: Inside a Dream, Remember Sadness y Finish hymn of light. No solo los arreglos son muy buenos, sino que su interpretacion en el piano es simplemente exquisita. Facilmente su version de "Inside a Dream" podria haber sido incluida en el disco piano fantasia :D
No dejen de ver los demas videos de su canal con interpretaciones de alto nivel y canciones bastante hermosas.

Today there's not sheet music, neither tabs or chords. Only good music to enjoy :D here we have an australian fan who calls himself  "Daphnis et Chloé" and plays his own piano arrangements of 3 Saint Seiya´s pieces: Inside a Dream, Remember Sadness and Finish hymn of light. The arrangements are, certainly, very good but his piano interpretation is just exquisite. Easily his version of "Inside a Dream" could have been added in the piano fantasia album :D

Openings y endings de Saint seiya en el pachinko

Mas novedades sobre este juego que solo esta disponible en Japon y del que solo podemos obtener informacion gracias a videos de baja calidad grabado por fans japoneses. Oremos porque un dia tengamos videos en buena calidad :P  Bueno, como ya habiamos adelantado en el blog, no solo pegasus fantasy fue re-versionado para el pachinko. Soldier Dream tambien fue re-versionado, asi como muchas otras canciones que sirvieron como aperturas y cierres de la serie, ovas, etc.

More news about this game which is only available in Japan and we only can get info thanks to low quality videos from japanese fans. Let's pray for a Good quality video some day :P well, as we said before in the blog, Pegasus Fantasy wasn't the only remade song for the Pachinko. Soldier Dream was remade too, as well as many other openings and endings from the series, ovas, etc.

El juego "Saint Seiya online" estrena web ( y tiene una magnifica cancion de fondo :DDD)

Sorpresivamente hace unos dias aparecio la pagina web del famoso (y por ahora desconocido) juego online de Saint seiya, el cual esta siendo desarrollado por Sega y Perfect world entertainment. Pues bien, ya la han actualizado y el gran detalle es que esta web tiene como musica de fondo una cancion roquera bastante buena. Lo primero que podriamos pensar es que es un karaoke ya que no hay nisiquiera una guitarra haciendo la melodia y tiene toda la estructura de ser una cancion vocal (verso, coro, solo, etc). Si la cancion ya es buena en su version karaoke, ni me quiero imaginar en su version completa :OOOOO

Surprisingly a few days ago a web site from the famous (and unknown for now) Saint Seiya online game was up. The game is currently being developed by Sega and Perfect World Entertainment. Well, the site was updated and the big detail is that the web has ,as background music, a pretty good rock song. The first thing in our minds could be that this song is a karaoke because there isn't even a guitar doing the melody and it has the structure of a vocal song (verse, chorus, solo, etc.). The song is already good in its karaoke version, so i don't wanna imagine in its full version :OOOOOOO

Hironobu Kageyama y Nobuo Yamada en la presentacion de las maquinas de Pachinko!!

Siguen las presentaciones de las maquinas de Pachinko de Saint Seiya. En este caso tenemos a las 2 leyendas vivientes juntas en 1 sola presentacion!! Nobuo Yamada (NoB) (山田 信夫) canta la mitica Pegasus Fantasy con los arreglos instrumentales hechos para el pachinko y Hironobu Kageyama ( 影山ﾋﾛﾉﾌﾞ) hace lo suyo tambien con Soldier Dream pero cantando la cancion completa. Porsupuesto cantaron en vivo (Nada de playback) e hicieron gala de su gran carisma aunque pareciera que fue una presentacion privada porque no se escucha a mucha gente ahi.

The presentations of the Saint Seiya's Pachinko machines continues. This time we have the 2 living legends together in 1 presentation!! Nobuo Yamada (NoB) (山田 信夫) sings the mythical Pegasus Fantasy with the instrumental arrangements made for the Pachinko and Hironobu Kageyama ( 影山ﾋﾛﾉﾌﾞ) does his thing with Soldier Dream but singing the whole song. Of Course, they sung live (no playback) with their personal charisma althought it looks like it was a private presentation because you can't hear many people there.

Nueva version de Pegasus Fantasy (del Pachinko)

Gracias a www.cavzodiaco.com.br tenemos disponible el opening de Saint Seiya version Pachinko. Basicamente es un remake del primer opening de la serie con los graficos "mejorados" de los que hace lujo la maquina pachinko. El que canta no es otro que Nobuo Yamada (NoB), el cantante original de Pegasus Fantasy. Con esta ya seria la octava version de Pegasus Fantasy hecha por Nobuo Yamada :O  Algunos se aventuran a decir que este opening pertenece a un inminente remake como Dragon ball Kai.  El tiempo lo dira...

Thanks to www.cavzodiaco.com.br we have the Saint Seiya opening Pachinko version. Basically is a remake from the first opening of the series with the "improved" graphics of the Pachinko machine. The one who sings is no other than Nobuo Yamada (NoB), the original singer of Pegasus Fantasy. With this, it would be the eight version of Pegasus Fantasy made by Nobuo Yamada :O Some says that this opening is for an inminent remake of the classic series just like Dragon Ball Kai. Time will tell...

Saint Seiya en piano desde Argentina.....

En internet hay muchos videos de fans tocando las canciones de sus animes favoritos. De entre todos esos videos, solo unos cuantos pueden recomendarse y esperar no recibir un insulto a cambio :P Este es el caso de este fan Argentino que toca bastante bien. Le saca provecho a su teclado agregando efectos y cambiando instrumentos. Por desgracia no hay partituras de las piezas menos conocidas asi que lo unico que queda es disfrutar de los videos ;)

There're plenty of videos from fans playing their favorites anime songs. Among all those videos, there are a few that one can recomend and be sure that no one will insult you  :P This is the case of this Argentinian fan who plays pretty well.  He takes advantage of the keyboard adding sound efectts and changing instruments. Unfortunately  there're no sheet music of the less known pieces so the only thing that we can do is enjoy the videos ;)

Pegasus Fantasy......del NES

Si, si! Nuevamente Pegasus Fantasy (se los dije :P). Una de tantas transcripciones de esta famosa cancion aunque esta corresponde a la version que suena a modo de intro en el juego de NES (Nintendo Entertaimen System para el que no sepa) llamado Saint Seiya - Gold Legend. De hecho, es tambien el intro del otro juego para nes: Saint seiya - Gold Legend final chapter (Ougon Densetsu Kanketsu Hen) y del juego remake/fusion/reciclado para Wonderswan Saint Seiya Gold Legend chapter - Perfect Edition.

Yes, yes! Pegasus Fantasy again (i told you :P). Opening y ending de "The Lost Canvas" en Latino

Y si, tenia que pasar en algun momento. El proceso de doblaje de las ovas de "Saint Seiya: The lost canvas" ya esta terminado. Han hecho publicos varios videos, entre ellos el opening y el ending doblados en latino. A mi personalmente me parecieron mejor doblados los de la version española (sobretodo el ending) pero bueno, Cada quien tendra su opinion sobre la calidad de la letra o la interpretacion. El opening (El Reino de Athena) esta interpretado por Gerardo Velázquez, y el ending (Cadena de Flores) por Carolina Ayala. Ambos tambien hacen los coros junto con Alejandro Lugo. La direccion musical corrio por parte de Maggie Vera, una vieja conocida de los fans de Saint Seiya ya que ella dio la voz para las versiones latinas de "Chikyuugi" (Opening Hades santuario), Kimi to onaji aoroza (Ending Hades Santuario) y "My Dear" (ending Hades Infierno).


And yes, it has to happen. The dubbing process of the "Saint Seiya: The lost canvas" ovas is over. A few videos where published and, among them, there were the opening and the ending with Latin Dub. Personally i think that the spanish versions of both were better (especially the ending) but, well, every one can have an opinion about the lyrics or the performance. The opening (The Realm of Athena) is sung by Gerardo Velázquez and the ending (Chain/Leash of Flowers) by Carolina Ayala. Both of them do the chorus too alongside Alejandro Lugo. The musical direction was in charge of Maggie Vera, a well known person among the saint seiya fans because she gave her voice for the latin versions of "Chikyuugi" (Hades Sanctuary opening), Kimi to onaji aoroza (Hades Sanctuary ending) y "My Dear" (Hades inferno ending).
