Pandora's box: Full band

Full band hace referencia a una partitura que contiene una cantidad aceptable o todos los instrumentos musicales que suenan en una pieza musical. Comunmente se lo puede conocer como partitura orquestal o "concert band", dependiendo de la naturaleza de dicha pieza. En este caso, el segundo movimiento del track Pandora's box. Una partitura que empezé como una transcripcion para piano pero le fui agregando una nota aca, otra alla, y termino con varios instrumentos mas agregados al piano ^^

Full band makes reference to a sheet music that has all or an acceptable amount of musical instruments played una a piece. Commonly it can be known as orchestral sheet music or "concert band" depending of the piece nature. In this case, the Pandora's box 2nd track movement. A sheet music that was started as a piano transcription but i was adding a note here, another there, and it finished with a lot more instruments along with the piano ^^

Ni se molesten: Esta cancion no sonó dentro de la serie y quien sabe si alguna vez se hizo una presentacion en vivo (Cosa dificil de hacer y, mas aun, de repetir), de modo que tenemos otra cancion "solo para fans" :O

Don't bother: This song wasn't played in the series and who knows if it had a live performance either (It's a difficult thing to do and even more to repeat) so we have another "only for fans" song :O

Proyecto Fingerstyle: Kami no Sono

Hace tiempo que tenia ganas de hacer algo asi: Versiones fingerstyle de los openings y endings pero que fueran, a la vez, lo mas sencillas y precisas posibles. De hecho, esto es algo que siempre aplico en mis transcripciones pero siempre eludí a los Ops y Ends por considerar que "no tenia nada que aportar" al gran trabajo que otros fans ya habian hecho. Bueno, al parecer si tengo algo para aportar y vamos a comenzar con el ending de Hades - Campos Eliseos.

I wanted to do something like this a long time ago: Fingerstyle versions of the openings and endings but simple and precise at the same time. In fact i apply this in all my transcriptions all the time but i always avoided the ops and ends because i thought that "i didn't have anything to contribute" to the great work made by other fans. Well, it looks like i do have something to contribute and we're goig to start with the Hades' ending - Elysian chapter.

Un Abel en piano en version PRO

Parece que esta partitura esta cargada con el cosmos del mismisimo Abel porque es uno de los arreglos de BGM mas complejos y tecnicos que hayamos publicado. A aquellos que intenten tocarla yo les diria que vayan y se consigan una armadura dorada primero, de otro modo dejen en paz al señor abel y preparense para la explosion de JALASHKiAN!!
It looks like this sheet music comes with the cosmos of Abel himself because is one of the more complex and technical BGM arrangements that we ever published. For those who want to try it i'll say you first get a gold cloth otherwise leave Abel sama alone and prepare yourself for the GALAXIAN EXPLOSION!!

Hermano! (Niiiissaaaannn!!!!!!!)

Para algunos, una muy buena cancion del Saint Seiya clasico; para otros ... cual cancion?!?! ^_^ Si nunca vieron la serie clasica en Version Original Subtitulada (o sino se informaron debidamente) entonces esta cancion les sonara totalmente desconocida. NEBULA CHAIN ES el tema dedicado a Shun, el caballero de Andromeda y tuvo el gran honor de ser usado como tema de insercion en una de las mejores partes de la saga de las 12 casas: La batalla contra el caballero de JUNINI !!

For some, a very good song from the Classic Saint Seiya; for others, ... what song?!?! ^_^ if you never saw the classical series in original subtitled version (or if you didn't investigate properly) then this song will be completly unknown. NEBULA CHAIN is the theme dedicated to Shun, the Andromeda Saint, and it had the honor of being an insertion song in one of the best parts from the 12 temples saga: The battle with the Gemini saint !!

El Ultimo/Principal/Definitivo/Final/Etc Cosmos!!

2 Posteos en 1 mes? esto viene bien ^_^¿   Esta partitura es iconica, aun cuando se escucho muy poco dentro de las ovas de Hades (y esto no es algo malo en sí). Algunos llaman a este track "El tema de Apolo" y, ciertamente, lo es. La utilizacion del organo es perfecta para reflejar la magnificencia de un dios (aunque tambien hubiera quedado bien un coro masculino). Puede sentirse lo avasallante de su poder y lo imposiblemente arduo que resulta tratar de hacerle frente a ese poder. Uno de los mejores tracks del OST Tenkai-hen

2 posts in 1 month? this looks good ^_^¿  This Sheet music is iconical, even when it wasn't played a lot (which isn't bad at all). Someone call it "Apollos' theme" and, certainly, it is. The use of the organ is perfect to reflect the magnificence of a god (Even though a male chorus would have been good to). The music allows you to feel how overwhelming his power is and how imposible ardous is trying to face that power. One of the best tracks from the Tenkai-hen OST

Casi casi next dimension!!

si!! volvio el blog y bla bla bla. A ver cuanto dura este regreso XD Por lo pronto, nos prendemos a la novedad del juego Saint Seiya Awakening con el lanzamiento de un single conteniendo lo que muchos fans llaman "el opening del Next Dimension" ya que la portada y la letra hacen alusion (efimeramente, pero lo hace) a esta parte del manga. Ademas, el hecho de que sea cantada por Nobuo "NoB" Yamada le da mas empuje a esta ilusion fanatica de considerarlo un opening.

Yes!! the Blog is back and blah blah blah. Let's see how long this return lasts XD For now, we go with the flow alongside the Saint Seiya Awakening game and the release of a single song which contains what a lot of fans call "The Next Dimension opening". This is due to the cover and lyrics from the single which make allusion (Briefly but it does it) to that part of the manga. Also, the fact that is sung by Nobuo "NoB" Yamada gives it more verve to this fanatic hope of consider it an opening.

Soul of Gold... na na na na naaa nananana!

Solo a mi se me ocurre sacar una partitura de un anime semanas despues de haber terminado, en vez sacarla cuando el anime se estaba emitiendo. Un verdadero 0 en marketing y publicidad ^_^¿ Reconoceran esta pieza musical como el tema que suena durante el resumen del capitulo anterior. Dejando de lado el opening, que no es mas que un remake de Soldier Dream, este BGM se ha convertido en la pieza mas representativa de este anime que, "casualmente", lleva el nombre de SOUL OF GOLD, algo logico si tenemos en cuenta que lleva el leitmotiv del OST ;)


Only i can think in releasing a sheet music of an anime weeks after its finalization instead of releasing it when the anime is on air. I deserve a big 0 in publicity and marketing ^_^¿ you'll recognize this musical piece as the theme played in the synopsis of the previous episode . Putting the opening aside (which is just a remake of Soldier Dream), this BGM has become the most representative theme for this anime and "by chance" it's called SOUL OF GOLD, something logical if we think that it carries the OST's leitmotiv.

Santos de la Esperanza, por siempre!

Hace tiempo, cuando publique las partituras hechas por el usuario Beethoven, pense que nunca mas veria otras partituras orquestales de Saint Seiya. Es una gran satisfaccion equivocarse a veces :D Esta partitura corresponde a otra de las versiones instrumentales de Soldier Dream y fue hecha por Renan Mingorance de Sousa, un talentoso fan brasilero que es musico profesional. Dicho fan dejo hace tiempo un demo orquestal de BGMs de The Lost Canvas y tiene otros proyectos de partituras de SS los cuales seran publicados aqui seguramente :D

Long time ago when i published the sheet music made by the Beethoven user, i thought that i would never see again another Orchestral sheet music from Saint Seiya. It's a great satisfaction to be mistaken some times :D this sheet music is from another instrumental version of Soldier Dream and was made by Renan Mingorance de Sousa, a talented Brazilian fan who is a professional musician. Such fan left us some time ago an orchestral demo with BGMs from The Lost Canvas and has more projects with Saint Seiya which, likely, will be published here :D

Acordes del ending de Saint Aioria: "Soul of Gold"

Despues de la carencia de endings en Saint Seiya Omega, muchos esperabamos lo mismo en Soul of Gold. Se pensaria que un anime "para internet" nisiquiera tendria opening pero grata fue nuestra sorpresa al ver que estos ratones de TOEI no solo hicieron eso sino que tambien se dignaron a gastar $$ en un ending :O al parecer estaban de buen humor al momento de hacer el presupuesto de gastos de Soul of Gold ^_^ (tampoco tanto porque la cancion ya estaba hecha ;)

After the drought of endings in Saint Seiya Omega many of us thought the same of Soul of Gold. One would think that an "internet anime" wouldn't even have an opening but the surprise to us was big when we saw that they gave it an opening an also they deigned to spend some $$ on an ending :O Looks like they were in good mood in the budget meeting ^_^ (And not even that because the song was already done ;)

Una mas del disco HITS I. Ya dentro de poco vamos a poder tocar y cantar el disco completo! Quien lo hubiera pensado? :D Este tema tiene un aire a opening de los 80's muy marcado. De no haber existido Pegasus Fantasy, sin duda I AM FIGHT habria sido el opening de Saint Seiya.

One more from the HITs I album. Soon we'll be able to play and sing the entire album!Who would have thought? :D This song has a noticeable resemblance to the 80's openings. If Pegasus Fantasy wouldn't have existed I AM FIGHT would have been the Saint Seiya's opening without doubt.

Aluvion de partituras chinas!

Era raro que nunca nos llegaran partituras de china siendo que es uno de los paises con mayor densidad poblacional y donde el mercado de saint seiya tiene algunos privilegios (Pegasus Symphony, Saint Seiya online, algunos productos piratas/truchos :P). Grande fue la sorpresa al notar que estas partituras chinas fueron de las primeras en llegar a la red ya que fueron hechas en el año... 2006! y recien ahora las encontramos! :S

It was rare that no sheet music from china came to us despite being one of the most densely-populated countries and where the Saint Seiya's market has some privileges (Pegasus Symphony, Saint Seiya online, some pirated products :P ). The surprise was big when i noticed that this chinese sheet music were one of the firsts in the net because they were made in ... 2006! and i found them until just now! :S

Acordes de Itoshiki hibi

Ya me imagino el primer comentario "y...esta cancion cual es??!!" En vista de que ya se nos estan acabando las canciones conocidas de Saint Seiya, este va a ser un comentario recurrente :P Dicha composicion pertenece a la "era" Omega aunque por desgracia no fue incluida en ningun capitulo. Solo la van a poder encontrar en el single "Saint Evolution".

I can imagine the first comment "so... which song is this??!!" Seeing that we're running out of Saint Seiya's known songs, this is going to be a recurrent comment :P Such composition belongs to the Omega "era" but unfortunatelly it wasn't included on any episode. It's only available in the "Saint Evolution" single.

Acordes de Saint Evolution!

Podemos anunciar oficialmente que ya tenemos los acordes de todos los openings de Saint Seiya! (al menos hasta abril :P). Solo nos faltaba el tercer opening de Saint Seiya Omega, una cancion cuya banda interprete usa mascaras graciosas como sello distintivo, al mas puro estilo "kiss". Mas alla de este detalle que muchos considerarian tonto, su musica es bastante buena y esta cancion es prueba de ello: Energica, rockera y con una melodia pegadiza. Todo eso que nos gusta :D

It can be officially annunced that we have the chords of all the Saint seiya openings! (at least until april :P). The third opening of Saint seiya Omega was the only one left, a song that belongs to a band that wears funny masks as their band distinctive seal like a kind of "kiss" style. Beyond that detail which many will consider silly, their music is pretty good and this song is a proof of that: very energetic, very rocker and with a catchy melody. All the things that we like :D

El sitio mas peligroso de todos es el cielo...

Esas fueron las palabras de Shaka en esa clasica escena donde ejecuta su tecnica "Rikudou Rinne" (6 Samsara) sobre Ikki. A medida que vemos a ikki transitar por esos 6 infiernos, escuchamos de fondo una pieza musical que es un leitmotiv perfecto de una escena terrorifica y desesperante. El segundo movimiento del track "Black Saints' challenge" es otra de las sencillas pero profundas composiciones de Seiji Yokoyama, utilizada en la serie de principio a fin e identificable por cualquier fan de Saint seiya que se precie de serlo.

Those were the words used by the gold saint Shaka in that classical scene where he executes his technique "Rikudou Rinne" (6 worlds) on Ikki. As we see ikki passes through the 6 worlds we hear in the background a musical piece that makes a perfect leitmotiv for a terrifying and distressing scene. The second movement of the track "Black saints' challenge" is another of the simple but deep compositions from the sensei Seiji Yokoyama, played since the begining until the end of the series and an identifiable piece by any Saint Seiya fan worth his/her salt.

A millones de planetas y billones de agujeros negros...

Y asi empezaba el prologo de las ovas de Hades - Campos Eliseos y de fondo sonaba el violin introductorio del track "Bell of angelus prayer", uno de los mejores del disco OST 8.

And that's how the prologue of the Hades - Elysion chapter began. In the background you can hear the violin from the track "Bell of angelus prayer", one of the best from the OST 8 album.

Pegasus Forever para piano (Version 2)

Muchas veces uno hace un trabajo y si bien el trabajo esta bien hecho, siempre puede mejorarse. En este caso decidi hacer una "mejor" version de la partitura de Pegasus Forever. Mas cercana a la version TV Size, incluyendo el organo y el final. Esta actualizacion solo me tomo... 10 años!! pero bueno, Saga tardo mas tiempo en encontrar la armadura de Sagitario, no? ^_^¿

Many times one do a good work and even if the work is well done, it always can be improved. In this case i decided to do a "better" version of the Pegasus Forever' sheet music. Closer to the TV Size version and including the organ and the ending. This update only took... 10 years!! but whatever, Saga needed a lot more time in finding the Sagittarius cloth, right? ^_^¿

Partitura del caballero fantasma...

Esta partitura es, lisa y llanamente, una rareza. La pieza musical es corta, se escucho solo en 1 par de escenas en la serie y no la van a encontrar en los OSTs de Saint Seiya. En la pelicula de Eris suena cuando ikki se prepara para ejecutar su tecnica "las alas ascendentes del fenix" (Hoo yoku ten shoo) contra Jaeger (Jaga) de Orion. En fin, una partitura para ultra fanaticos solamente ;)

This sheet music is, plain and simple, a rarity. The musical piece is short, was heard only a couple of times in the series and you won't find it in the Saint Seiya's OSTs. In the Eris' movie is played when Ikki is preparing to execute his technique "Phoenix's wing glide" (Hoo yoku ten shoo) against Orion Jaeger (Jaga). Anyway, a sheet music for ultra fans only ;)

Saga!!!

Hacia tiempo que no publicaba una entrada que involucrara un BGM donde muere alguien! (doble o triple muerte en este caso,de hecho :P ). Este BGM del Original Sountrack 2 fue profusamente usado en la saga de las 12 casas (y muy acertadamente debo decir) pero sin dudas la escena que identifica a esta pieza musical es la del sacrificio final de Saga. Es tambien uno de los tabs que recibio mas peticiones a lo largo del tiempo, las cuales me encargue de ignorar por años XD

It has been a long time since i have published an entry that involves a BGM where someone dies! (double or triple death in this case in fact :P). This BGM from the Original Soundtrack 2 was used very often in the 12 temples saga (Very effectively i must say) but without doubt the scene that identifies this musical piece is the Saga's final sacrifice. It's also one of the most wanted tabs and it had many petitions which i ignored for years XD

Deprisa caballeros Athenienses!!!

Si no reconocen esa frase no tuvieron infancia XD Estas inmortales palabras eran dichas en el preview de cada capitulo de la saga de las 12 casas (La mejor saga de todo saint seiya :) por Raul Espinoza y el track "Galaxian Wars" sonaba de fondo. Sin lugar a dudas a todo fan de Saint Seiya se le erizaba la piel al escuchar esta pieza musical :D

If you didn't recognize that phrase you didn't have childhood XD those immortal words were said in every episode preview of the 12 temples saga (the best saga of all Saint Seiya :) by Raul Espinoza and the track "Galaxian wars" was played in the background. Without a doubt every Saint Seiya fan get goosebumps just by hearing this musical piece.
