Tab del Requiem de Mime (Con partitura y todo...)

Aqui tenemos un tab para guitarra con partitura incluida (pentagrama) del famoso Requiem de Mime, presuntamente hechas por Felipe Saggion segun puede leerse en la parte superior. Se ve practicamente como una hoja de un libro de tabs aunque las notas en el pentagrama se ven algo confusas y no muy bien editadas (pero correctas al fin y al cabo). De todas maneras dichas notas en pentagrama son muy utiles ya que en practicamente todos los tabs de fans, uno debe "imaginar" donde encaja cada nota  a medida que se toca el tab y esto trae algunos problemas a veces. En cuanto al arreglo, no es de los mejores que he visto pero es bastante aceptable. Hay que considerar que un arreglo del requiem de mime para 1 sola guitarra es algo bastante dificil dadas las limitaciones del instrumento. Para lograr fidelidad con el track original deberia ser un arreglo para 2 guitarras.
A falta de un video, me tome el trabajo de hacer un midi para que mas o menos se guien si es que se pierden un poco :)

Here we have a guitar tab with score/sheet music  from the famous Mime's requiem, made (allegedly) by Felipe Saggion as you can read in the top. It looks like a tab book but the notes in the staves don't have a good edition and looks a little messy (but they are right after all). Anyway, such notes in the staves are very useful because in almost all the fan tabs, one must imagine where each note fits as we play the tab and this brings a few problems ocassionally. The arrangement isn't the best i've seen but is very acceptable. You must consider that an arrangement of Mime's requiem for 1 guitar alone is something very difficult because of the instrument limitations. To achieve fidelity with the original track, the arrangement should be with 2 guitars.
In the absence of a video, i made a midi for guidance in case you get lost in the tab :)

Acordes de Blue Dream

Para los que son fanaticos de Saint seiya desde el principio, no hace falta agregar mucho mas sobre esta cancion :) Para los que son fanaticos recientes (desde "Hades" mas o menos, es decir, hace casi 10 años nomas :P) les cuento que Blue Dream es el segundo ending del Saint Seiya clasico y no solo es una cancion conocida. Es la cancion "soft" mas famosa de Saint Seiya!!  Ciertamente "Chikyuugi" ha ganado bastante popularidad en estos ultimos tiempos, pero Blue Dream se mantiene firme en el primer puesto ^^ Ademas esta cancion es la gran diva en las presentaciones de Hironobu kageyama, sobretodo en las presentaciones acusticas donde es practicamente obligatoria.

For those who are Saint Seiya fans since the beginning, there's no much to add about this song :) For those who are recent fans (Since "Hades" more or less, that is to say, just 10 years ago :P ) let me tell you that Blue Dream is the second ending for the classic Saint Seiya and it's no just a known song. It's the most famous "soft" song from Saint Seiya!! Certainly  "Chikyuugi" has gained considerable popularity in recent times but Blue Dream remains strong in the first place ^^ Also this song is the Prima Donna in the Hironobu Kageyama's presentations, especially in his acoustic presentations where this song is nearly obligatory. 

Pegasus Fantasy......del NES

Si, si! Nuevamente Pegasus Fantasy (se los dije :P). Una de tantas transcripciones de esta famosa cancion aunque esta corresponde a la version que suena a modo de intro en el juego de NES (Nintendo Entertaimen System para el que no sepa) llamado Saint Seiya - Gold Legend. De hecho, es tambien el intro del otro juego para nes: Saint seiya - Gold Legend final chapter (Ougon Densetsu Kanketsu Hen) y del juego remake/fusion/reciclado para Wonderswan Saint Seiya Gold Legend chapter - Perfect Edition.

Yes, yes! Pegasus Fantasy again (i told you :P). Opening y ending de "The Lost Canvas" en Latino

Y si, tenia que pasar en algun momento. El proceso de doblaje de las ovas de "Saint Seiya: The lost canvas" ya esta terminado. Han hecho publicos varios videos, entre ellos el opening y el ending doblados en latino. A mi personalmente me parecieron mejor doblados los de la version española (sobretodo el ending) pero bueno, Cada quien tendra su opinion sobre la calidad de la letra o la interpretacion. El opening (El Reino de Athena) esta interpretado por Gerardo Velázquez, y el ending (Cadena de Flores) por Carolina Ayala. Ambos tambien hacen los coros junto con Alejandro Lugo. La direccion musical corrio por parte de Maggie Vera, una vieja conocida de los fans de Saint Seiya ya que ella dio la voz para las versiones latinas de "Chikyuugi" (Opening Hades santuario), Kimi to onaji aoroza (Ending Hades Santuario) y "My Dear" (ending Hades Infierno).


And yes, it has to happen. The dubbing process of the "Saint Seiya: The lost canvas" ovas is over. A few videos where published and, among them, there were the opening and the ending with Latin Dub. Personally i think that the spanish versions of both were better (especially the ending) but, well, every one can have an opinion about the lyrics or the performance. The opening (The Realm of Athena) is sung by Gerardo Velázquez and the ending (Chain/Leash of Flowers) by Carolina Ayala. Both of them do the chorus too alongside Alejandro Lugo. The musical direction was in charge of Maggie Vera, a well known person among the saint seiya fans because she gave her voice for the latin versions of "Chikyuugi" (Hades Sanctuary opening), Kimi to onaji aoroza (Hades Sanctuary ending) y "My Dear" (Hades inferno ending).

Tabs tabs de soldier Dream

He aqui el Tab version "TV Size" de Soldier Dream. La version facil esta 1 octava mas baja para que verdaderamente sea "facil" y tambien esta en el tono "facil" mas usado por la mayoria de los fans (el tono de las version instrumental orquestal). Este tab es respecto de la cancion vocal original y no de la version instrumental donde una guitarra electrica reemplaza a la voz. Los mas atentos notaran que puse los tabs del intro aca tambien. En realidad los quite del otro post y los deje aca para que todo sea mas homogeneo :)

Here is the "TV Size" version tab from Soldier Dream. The easy version is in the "easy" tone used by most fans (the tone from the instrumental orchestral version) and is 1 octave lower because that way is really an "easy" version. This tab is from the original vocal song and not from the instrumental version where an electric guitar replace the voice. The most attentive ones will notice that i put here the tabs from the intro too. In fact, i cut it from the other post and pasted here so everything is more homogeneous :)

Unas cuantas partituras de Saint seiya "repetidas" que les pueden interesar :)

En mi continua busqueda de partituras de saint seiya me encontre con el sitio de una fanatica de la musica de anime llamada Liz Xu Wilson. Este sitio tiene una pequeña cantidad de partituras para piano de varios animes bastante conocidos y entre ellos esta, porsupuesto, saint seiya (o "los caballeros del zodiaco" como le decimos muchos latinoamericanos todavia,  o "los guerreros del zodiaco" como fuera rebautizada en latinoamerica la serie "The Lost Canvas" :PP ). Las partituras que tiene son 3 y corresponden a "remember Sadness", "El Requiem de mime (Andromeda Shun, that fight)" e "Hilda de polaris". De las 2 primeras piezas ya se postearon varias partituras en este blog (incluyendo las mias, ejem...XD ) pero estas tienen la particularidad de ser una clase de "version alternativa". De hecho son muy parecidas a las partituras que hiciera Ichigos (otro sitio con partituras de anime) cuyas partituras son las mas usadas en los videos amateurs de Mime y Remember Sadness (Al menos, en los primeros videos que salieron). Hilda de polaris es la partitura que mas se acerca al track original aunque la principal virtud de esta partitura es que contiene los 2 movimientos del track :D cada partitura tiene midis de muestra.

In my continuous search for Saint Seiya sheet music/scores, i found a site from an anime music fan called Liz Xu Wilson. This site has a small amount of piano sheets from many well known animes and among those is, of course, Saint seiya (or "the knights of zodiac" as many latinamericans call it, or "the warriors of zodiac" which is the new denomination for "The Lost Canvas" :PP). The Scores are 3 and are: "Remember Sadness", "Mime's Requiem" (Andromeda Shun, That fight) and "Polaris Hilda". From the first 2 pieces there are many scores posted in this blog (including mine, ahem...XD ) but these ones have the particularity of being a kind of "alternative version". In fact, they are very similar to the sheets made by Ichigos (Another site with anime sheets) which are the most used in the amateur videos of Mime and Remember Sadness (at least, in the first videos that came out). Polaris Hilda is the closest sheet music to the original track but the main virtue is that this score has the 2 movement from the track :D  each sheet music have sample midis.

El tema de Abel en guitarra ;)

Hace tiempo colgue el video de  Rosa Maria Rodriguez (whiteevilharp) en el que toca con excelencia el tema del abel en arpa. Revisando un poco youtube encontre a este muchacho que tambien toca con excelencia el tema de abel pero en guitarra!! Si bien lo toca un poco lento, logra perfectos arpegios y mantiene toda la delicadeza del track original. Por desgracia no hay tabs pero bueno, no se puede tener todo en la vida :P

Some time ago i posted a video from  Rosa Maria Rodriguez (whiteevilharp) where she plays with excellence the abel's theme in harp. Checking youtube, i found this young man who plays, with excellence too, the abel's theme in guitar! Although he plays a little slow, the arpeggios are perfect and keeps the delicacy from the original track. Unfortunately there are no tabs but hey, you can't have everything in life :P

Tabs de Pegasus Fantasy (Melodia)

Volvemos con Pegasus Fantasy (y algo me dice que no sera la ultima vez :P). En este caso es el tab de la melodia. Notaran que el punteo es de la primera parte de la cancion completa, o sea, es la version "TV Size". Tambien aclaro que este tab es respecto de la cancion original y no de la version instrumental donde una guitarra electrica reemplaza a la voz. La version instrumental le agrega muchos mas efectos a la interpretacion y algunos son complejos, sin embargo,  este tab seria el mismo para ambas versiones asi que una vez aprendido el tab, pueden lanzarse a tratar de emular la instrumental :D

We're back with Pegasus Fantasy (and something tells me that it won't be the last time :P). In this case, it's the tab from the melody. You will notice that the tab is from the first part of the whole song, like the "TV Size" version. Also you need to know that this tab is from the original song and not from the instrumental version where an electric guitar replace the voice. The instrumental version adds many more effects in the performance and some are complex, however, this tab would be the same for both versions so once you learn this tab, you can try to take off the instrumental one :D 

Acordes de Soldier Dream (vive tus sueños y llegaras al...Saint Seiya)

Despues de unas merecidas vacaciones (jeje) el blog vuelve a la accion. De hecho las vacaciones habian empezado los primeros dias de enero pero me maneje como para hacer un par de posts :D en fin....
Soldier dream es otra de las canciones vocales miticas de Saint seiya (Algunos la consideran incluso mejor que Pegasus Fantasy ). Es la segunda cancion mas versionada por los fans en sus videos de internet y una fija en el repertorio de Hironobu Kageyama. Es un poco mas "compleja" que Pegasus Fantasy ya que tiene mas acordes y algunos deben tocarse bastante rapido, pero aun con todo sigue siendo una cancion facil sin acordes raros :D Aclaro que yo coloque los acordes en la tonalidad original. Si quieren los acordes en tonalidades mas sencillas, vean el archivo de texto de acordes :D 

After a well deserved holiday (haha) the blog returns to action. In fact the holiday started the first days of january but i managed to make a couple of posts :D anyway...

Soldier Dream is another mythical vocal song from Saint Seiya series (Some consider it even better than Pegasus Fantasy ). It's the second more versioned  song by the fans in their internet videos and an  immovable one in Hironobu Kageyama's repertory. It's a little more "complex" than Pegasus Fantasy because it has more chords and some of them must be played fast, even so it's an easy song without "rare" chords ^^  I must clarify that the chords here are in the original tone. If you want easier chords, see the chord text file :D

"Remember Sadness" en guitarrita acustica

Esta es una de las piezas que mas me gusta de toda la musica de Saint Seiya y una de las causas por la que este blog existe ;) De hecho, no soy el unico ya que esta es de las piezas mas recordadas y solicitadas por los fans. Recordar que esta cancion se llama "Remember Sadness" pero este tab es de la version que suena en el track "Far reaching Five Old Peaks". En algun post futuro voy a explicar mejor este tema del nombre ^^
En esta transcripcion tuve que bajarle 1 octava a lo que seria la mano derecha en el piano ya que de mantener la octava original, hacer el acompañamiento hubiera sido practicamente imposible.

This is one of the pieces from Saint Seiya that i like the most and one of the reasons of why this blog exists ;) In fact, i'm not the only one because this is one of the most memorable and requested pieces by the fans. You must have in mind that this song is called "Remember Sadness" but this tab is from the version in the track "Far reaching Five Old Peaks".  I will explain better this "name issue" in some future post ^^
In this transcription i had to get down 1 octave the part that should be the right hand in the piano because if not, the accompaniment should be impossible.
